| Program Description |
 |
 |
| Magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography have long been standard protocol for diagnosing and resecting brain tumors. Today’s functional imaging studies, however, are much more sophisticated, mapping precisely the size and location of tumors, thereby enabling neurosurgeons to perform more complete resections and affording patients more accurate prognoses. This brief program on functional imaging describes some of the more advanced imaging tools and techniques used today. |
